Trinity doctrine and bible canonization

hello, a quick question that came to find and couldn't find easy answer using google so i'ma try here.. so: was the doctrine of trinity decided to be a christian doctrine by the same people who chose which books to include in the bible?

i vaguely remember that both of these subjects were decided at the first council of nicaea.

if this is not the case, then when, where and by whom were these things decided?.

JWism retaking control of wife's family

a situation regarding this religion has developed which i fear might have negative implications on me and wifes lives, and i'm looking for thoughts and advice in how to approach the situation.

i'll start with some background information to enlighten the situation.. i'm a male in mid-twenties, raised secularly, married to an ex-jw woman (on paper still a jw though), who's been raised in the jw religion, although somewhat untheocratically shall i say.

for instance her mother has 5 children with 3 different men, all non-jws, and has had many other relationships as well.

Girlfriend probably getting DF'd

so the local jc decided to df my girlfriend because of basically premarital sex.. she confessed few weeks back to the elders, and the judicial system had its wheels rolling.. they confronted her today, and eventually came to the conclusion described above.. .

she told them that she regretted our sexual acts, and that we wouldn't perform that kind of actions before we're married.. they talked with her about getting married etc.

a week before the jc.. now the reason they decided to df her was not the sexual acts itself, nor the lack of regret,.

i remember reading an article, maybe from the 70's not sure, where wtbts condemned people who misquote people for their own purposes.. i'd be thankful if anyones remembers this and could post it here..

WTBTS and government money

from what i understand is, that the wtbts isn't funded by (any?

) government(s).. this would be very understandable, in order to get money from a government, they would probably need to open their books,.

what i would like know is: has the wtbts appealed for government money?

does anyone remember the case where some congregation didn't get enough money to cover the costs of the magazines?.

wtbts sent a letter to the congregation asking for money.

does anyone remeber this case?

Of those who leave; how many are women?

the wtbts-society is already lacking of young men, the need for elders in the future will increase drastically.. if i recall right, of those who are recruited on a later age (not born-ins), even up to 80-90% are female.. does anyone know if there is any kind of difference between genders regarding disfellowshipping?.

i would like to ask does anybody know where i could get an official statement regarding what jw's are allowed/not allowed to do?.

this matter isn't something there has been a specifically written article on, and i would consider it as being in the 'grey zone'.. from where could i get an the watchtower's official opinion on matters like this?.
